The Coming Insurrection – A dangerous book…

October 31st, 2011

Update 2:  Glenn again references this book in understanding the current “Occupy” movement; who’s behind it and what the true motivation is.

Update:  Glenn continues to push this book out and the last time we reviewed this item was July 2009.  How many things have changed?  Just look around and see if it appears plans are progressing.  This is what is coming and we need to be wide awake to it.

The most dangerous book recently written;  The Coming Insurrection This book calls for armed insurrection to overthrow the Republic and the advance of a communist state.  Written in France but applicable here.  The goal is to collapse the economy in order to bring about radical shifts in governance.  Glenn says this book is frightening in its scope and goals.  The seeds of an anarchical revolution?  Let’s hope not… The Coming Insurrection by The Invisible Committee

The Woman Who Shot Mussolini

October 25th, 2011

Glenn mentioned two books on Friday’s program.  The first is The Woman Who Shot Mussolini, which by it’s title should be self explantory.  More riveting historical prose!

The second was mentioned while Glenn was interviewing Franklin Graham, and the book is about the life of his father, Billy Graham.  Nearing Home: Life, Faith, and Finishing Well is a book the recounts the days in the life of the renowned evangelist and gives insight into the process of growing old and finishing well.  This looks worth the effort to read.

Phillip Dru – Worst Book Ever Written?

September 29th, 2011

So this is not the most ringing of endorsements as Glenn says this may be the worst book ever written.  However, it was Woodrow Wilson’s favorite book and gives a startling glimpse into the mind of the bureaucratic machine that we see being built today.  From Czars to super committees, this is the poison pill of a representative republic.

Glenn inteviewed David Horowitz on today’s program about his new book  A Point in Time: The Search for Redemption in This Life and the Next.  David Horowitz grew up with card carrying Communists as parents and founded the “New Left” in the 1960′s.  His journey is remarkable, and his insight into the mind of the left is indespensable.
