The Coming Insurrection – A dangerous book…

October 31st, 2011 | by admin |

Update 2:  Glenn again references this book in understanding the current “Occupy” movement; who’s behind it and what the true motivation is.

Update:  Glenn continues to push this book out and the last time we reviewed this item was July 2009.  How many things have changed?  Just look around and see if it appears plans are progressing.  This is what is coming and we need to be wide awake to it.

The most dangerous book recently written;  The Coming Insurrection This book calls for armed insurrection to overthrow the Republic and the advance of a communist state.  Written in France but applicable here.  The goal is to collapse the economy in order to bring about radical shifts in governance.  Glenn says this book is frightening in its scope and goals.  The seeds of an anarchical revolution?  Let’s hope not… The Coming Insurrection by The Invisible Committee

“The seeds of an anarchical revolution?”

    Sounds good to me.

    “LONG LIVE ODO!”

I would move as far along that path as libertarian, but anarchical “governance” which has for its ultimate goal a communist state where all liberties are granted by the government is the road to tyranny. The collective cannot trump the individual.

The collective does trump the individual (We, the People) and it has to. In statism, the People have the power to tax individuals at any extent they see fit. We just have to get rid of politicians.

Supreme courts can protect minority rights, even in “anarchy”. Anarchists are the most intellectual and civilized human beings on the planet. They’re just “waiting for the world (the people) to change” so that they can finally live in a lasting peace and brotherhood.

    Really, read this book: http://www.amazon.com/Dispossessed-Novel-Perennial-Classics/dp/006051275X/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_k2a_2_img?pf_rd_p=304485601&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-2&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=0061054887&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=046BZY60FDHJT7CQDK7W

I must admit my view of anarchists is skewed by the strain that promotes statism and not the strain that supports free market individualism. I imagine defining an Anarchist is as difficult as defining a libertarian. The very nature of the movements defy definition and are at best loose fitting groups.

I believe the founders of this country struck the sweet spot between liberty and governance by limiting the reach and scope of the Federal government and placing the power locally where it could be better monitored and checked. We have migrate so far from the intent as to be unrecognizable. I will take incremental change over radical revolution simply because the resulting chaos would leave damages unimaginable. (Which I think some anarchists secretly wish for). But I will try to get through the book again. I couldn’t make it through in college. Read “Common Sense” by Glenn Beck http://bit.ly/wrK9P
